Community Integrated Care is currently seeking an experienced caring and committed person to join our team supporting a gentleman with life-changing injuries live his life to the full. With a positive and fun nature, you’ll provide a highly individualised service, respecting the needs and wishes of this gentleman in his own home.
 

Putting the preferences of this gentleman at the heart of everything you do, you will support him to become more independent. You will be comfortable supporting this gentleman with all aspects of daily living, including intimate care tasks, tracheostomy care and moving and positioning. You will also provide social and emotional support, help with daily living tasks, and promote and support his independence so that he can become more active and reach his goals and aspirations.

 
About You

An upbeat and positive manner is essential as is having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community. 

You will bring creative ideas to encourage the gentleman to live as independently as possible.  Ideally you will have experience of supporting people with complex care needs including those with a spinal cord injury and associated conditions. A driving licence is also preferable.

Experience working in complex care within a social or health care setting
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold an SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Scotland) or Level 4 Diploma in Care (England)
