About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate and talented Service Leader to join our management team in Aberdeenshire.

The service where you will manage has multiple sites within the Peterhead area with an office base in Peterhead.  We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a large support team to enable individuals to live a fulfilled lifestyle in their own homes. 

You will support individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, mental health needs and acquired brain injury. Therefore the knowledge and experience of working with this client group and developing care plans and models of care and support that will able them to live a fulfilling lifestyle of their choice is essential.

As a skilled leader you will be responsible for the overall supervision, quality assurance, monitoring, regulatory requirements and day to day management of staff. The responsibilities for this role are centred on the delivery, quality, financial stability and the on-going development of the service. 

The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the 24-hour management of the Service, ensuring that all aspects of support and service delivery is focused on meeting the needs and preferences of the people supported within the philosophical framework of person centred planning.

About You

It is essential you are a driver with a full license.

The successful applicant would be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting in post and be willing to work towards an SVQ 4 qualification in Health and Social Care if they have not already obtained this or have an equivalent qualification.
