    ‘This role is an hourly paid role at £11.94 hourly rate. The salary advertising is an example of the annualised salary for someone working 37.5 hours a week. If you work part time, this will differ’

     
     
    Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
    Meet The People
    • We are a group of male & female co-tenants living in our own apartments in a shared housing scheme. Our ages range between 40 upwards. Some of us receive support and some of us live independently. We love to socialise with each other and a also entertain our friends and family in our home. When we do require support, it can be anything from personal care, help to clean our apartment, cooking and preparing meals, medication support, accessing the community for appointments or just a welfare call to keep us company.
    What we like
    • We like living in our extra care scheme as we feel safe and supported. We know that the staff are around if we need them.
    • We like to host our own activities in the lovely communal spaces or staff can support to organise
    Our Home
    • The scheme is purpose built to support with maintaining our own independence
    • There is a large mature private garden with trees for shade and places to sit and move around; just fantastic to use in the summer.
    • There is shared communal lounge where we can spend time with each other and our friends and family
    • We have a Bistro, Hairdressers, Hobby Room, Pamper room, Assisted Bathroom and Guest room available
    • There is parking available on site
    • The scheme is managed by Livv Housing Group and we work closely in partnership with them.
    Where We Live

    The Extra care scheme is in Huyton

    Our home is convenient for getting out and about:

    • Near to local church’s and close to all local amenities including shops and pubs
    • Good bus and train links in easy access as most of us love to travel.
    Other Information
    • You will work alongside an experienced and supportive staff team
    • The staff are based in the staff room downstairs but will come to the apartments at the times we need them and also respond to our pendant is we need them to.

    We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
