About The Role
We are currently looking for a fantastic new Regional Manager to oversee our services in Hertfordshire.
The Regional Manager will play a key role in the region’s exciting growth plans and develop Community Integrated Care’s presence as a leading provider in the region. You will receive a bespoke development plan, guidance and support to help you grow into the role.

The successful candidate will be the registered manager for their patch and provide leadership to 6 Service Leaders who have responsibility for 6 Services across Hertfordshire. You will ensure our service leaders are helping the people we support live the best lives possible. 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of our services in the region, ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements. As part of the regions Leadership Team, you will contribute to the formulation of the organisation’s business planning process with overall responsibility for the implementation of the business plan within your allocated services.

  • Professional qualification in Health and Social Care e.g. Qualified Nurse or Social Worker, NVQ level 4/5
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Degree-level qualification in Business or Social Care related subject is desirable


  • Proven track record managing allocated multiple services in an operational role or a large multi-site environment
  • Able to build sound internal and external relationships and an ability to inspire and motivate your teams
  • Experience of working in regulated environments for example CQC / Care Inspectorate
  • Proven track record in improving service delivery
  • Previous experience of achieving business targets and working to budgetary targets
  • Prior line management experience is essential
  • Previous experience of dealing with employee relations cases
  • Experience of writing and developing professional reports to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience working at senior operational level is desirable
  • A proven track record of mobilising new services is desirable
  • A proven track record of engaging in, and embedding in, person centred approaches with positive outcomes for the people supported and staff is desirable

  • Ability to assess complex care packages and identify outcomes required to meet care standards
  • Ability to undertake organisational audits
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and improve performance
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and communication skills
  • Able to develop immediate credibility with internal and external stakeholder and build sound working relationships
  • Ability to assess and analyse data and financial information
  • Coaching and monitoring of staff
  • Good IT skills
  • Highly self-motivated with effective leadership style
  • Ability to cope with rapid and sustained change and competing demands
  • Good team player
  • Innovative thinker and problem solver
  • Results/solutions focused
  • Willing to be flexible in regards to working hours
  • Able to travel as and when required
  • Full UK driving licence


  • Excellent knowledge of the care sector including regulatory and contractual frameworks and government legislation is essential
  • Good knowledge of proposed changes in government legislation and the impact of these changes on health and social care services is desirable
  • Understanding of quality and care in a regulated environment
