About The Role

Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Advanced Support Workers in Wareham, Dorset!

We offer industry-leading rates of pay - starting at £11.50 per hour, as well as both full time and part time roles.  The shift patterns will include day, night and weekend shift patterns.  

Our Advanced Support Workers support people who have mild learning disabilities and mental health concerns with their daily routines, and more complex needs to live the best lives possible. The people we support are currently undergoing assessments for more complex needs.

The people we support live in their own flat on a site totalling 14 flats that require care and support. Red Oak Court, is a supporting living service and we are promoting independence. Support needs are; personal care, food preparation, shopping, support with cleaning, support with running their own flat, medication, appointments, community involvement, activities, family contact and day to day tasks.

About You

To meet the needs of the people we support in Wareham, we are looking for male advanced support workers only. 

We’re looking for candidates who are caring, dedicated, love working with people and share the values that make our charity so special.

Prior experience of working in care with complex needs is required for this role and a Level 3 in Social Care is desirable. If you have a strong background as a support worker, with any specialist training or other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need to succeed!

You’ll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills, as you support people who share your interests to do the things they love the most.

A drivers license is essential as the people we support do have their own transportation and you may be required to use this transport on shift.
